It is a beautiful property that has preserved much of the best of its time - it was opened by Prince Phillip in 1954. The staff are friendly, competent and welcoming. The library and courtyard have gravitas, serenity and a beautiful, considered mid twentieth century aesthetic that stays with you long after you have left.”
