“The room was spacious (apart from the toilet), and tastefully renovated to include antique furniture, including a claw-foot bathtub next to the bed, an art deco wardrobe, and a high ceiling. The bed was comfortable and the hotel was well located in the centre of town. There was a variety of options for breakfast, which was tasty, filling and included in the room rate, although you had to pay for small extras, such as orange juice.”

“This 100 year old hotel has preserved a lot of its old features, including wood plank floors in many areas and many historic photographs from the early days of Chilliwack. They need to continue to work to get rid of carpet and restore the plank floors in all parts of the hotel because it will add to the ambience. The hotel includes an excellent breakfast in their price.”
