This 4 star hotel is located on the coastline of Hilton Head Island. * The Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort will start the final phase of their renovations project on November 1, 2014. This final phase involves Guestroom Renovation. They will start in the South Lodging Building and close two floors at a time (68 rooms), with a 2.5 week timeline estimated per room closure. The anticipated completion date is March 6, 2015. All guestrooms renovation will include new entry tile flooring, carpeting, window treatments, beds, headboard, sofa and/or chairs, interior paint, lighting, ceiling fans, mini-kitchen upgrade with tile flooring, counter backsplash &, furniture, bathroom tile &, tile flooring, bathroom vanity storage, as well as lighting. They will also complete the exterior paint project during this period. There are no structural changes or room type changes being made during these renovations. They will assign guests in the opposite building, away from any work when possible. This is their off-peak business period and they do not expect any disruption to guests during this time. Guestroom renovations will be contained within the closed Lodging Building floors. They will continue normal operations with Restaurants, Spa, Fitness Center, Adult &, Family Pools, Hot Tubs, Beach Access, and Recreation. The Bell Staff will continue shuttle service to Palmetto Dunes Golf, Tennis, the Shelter Cove Marina, Shops and the Shelter Cove Towne Center for all hotel guests.
