“The old charm of the colonial house with all modern comforts. Great to have a pool just outside our suite to cool down! The amazing wonderful staff that made us feel at home from the moment we arrived, despite our enormous luggage!!! The excellent food, the best in town, bravo Chef!!! Our suite is spacious, with very comfortable bed, well appointed bathroom with great toiletries, towels and robes. Much appreciated the large balcony with very nice outdoor decor to invite friends or just a quiet place to read a book. Having lived in Pondicherry for several years and returning after a long gap I can assure you that this is by far the best place in town.”

“From the minute we arrived till we left everything was great. Delicious welcome drink and seemless check in. Beautiful mixture of old and modern architecture. Very comfortable room (we were in Timeless) with all amenities (including complimentary bar fridge) and lovely balcony overlooking greenery and the front courtyard to relax when it's too hot to walk. Pool was nice and perfect to cool off in the afternoon. It was quiet despite being close to the street. Breakfast was plentiful and yummy and coffee was great. The staff were super helpful, corteous and non intrusive. It was nice that it was not overun by tourists coming in to dine at the restuarant. Would go back again! ”

“Staff was very courteos and warm. Interiors were very nicely done and decor was a delight. Nice breakfast. Pool at first floor was an added delight. Overall they had done a wonderful job with the heritage property maintaining the old world feel with all the amenities. And and and the best thing was the complementary minibar!!!!”

They were very thoughtful with providing umbrella, mosquito repellant and complimentary mini bar items amongst other things. The staff was very accommodation and we had a wonderful time.”

“This is a beautiful property with amazing rooms. We were lucky enough to be in room 6 which is the entire top floor and a stunning place to stay. The pool is fabulous, breakfast delicious, staff extremely helpful and the neighbourhood awesome to explore every day. If you have only a few days in Pondicherry in your India schedule, extend it to as many days or weeks as you can and if you can, stay at La Villa. It's close to perfect!”

“There was a sense of serenity even though its situated right in the center of the city. The moment we went there, we upgraded ourselves to the suite.The staff were amazing. They were extremely sweet and helpful and always willing to help. We did not want to leave our room, it was just perfect. Everything was brought to us. The FOOD is absolutely amazing. The chef was always ready to listen to our requests. We were attended to very well by the staff and there was always feeling of satisfaction.”
