“when we ran small country motels we serviced the rooms to look like they did when the guest first arrived. If you pay the same amount for the second, third and fourth night as you do for the first night, why shouldn't you expect it to be the same. Our bathroom floor had water marks on it. Virtually the bed was made and the towels replaced. No hair dryer as stated in the compendium. Had to wait to access our room after the check in time.”

“Breakfast included, was a much appreciated bonus. Being involved in the National Cricket Championships, we did not have the time to head off site for breakfast. The variety, quality and quantity of breakfast items available was excellent. The little chocolate muffins were superb!!! The staff were always friendly, helpful and accommodating. The rooftop bar was also a really spectacular feature of the Rex. I also really appreciated the opportunity to access the pool and gym facilities as part of my preparation/recovery. However, the highlight for me was the Dinner "get together" for our entire group. The food, drinks, service and décor was fantastic.”
