“The location in the traditional side of Kyoto and short walk to the heart of the Gion district. Value for money. We moved from another hotel charging three times more for the same type of room. Also loved the shower, only one of it's type during our journey that has the modern glass wall and tiled floor rather than the molded Japanese bath that one feels rather dubious about bathing in :S”

My partner and I found the best tonkatsu restaurant and sake restaurant nearby. The infamous Kichi Kichi restaurant serving omurice is a short walk from here (word of advice: you need a reservation to eat there). I'd stay in this hotel again, or at least in the same area.”
