“Breakfast: You can cook your own soft or hard boiled eggs. Stuff: Helpful and approachable Location: With free public transport card provided by Ibis, the Bus 1 and 2 to City centre and within 5 mins walk from Hotel. There are two supermarkets nearby too.”
“I liked that the hotel offered a travel card with which you could access the local transport for free, get discounts on funiculars and also ride anywhere in Ticino for free! This made the hotel stay even greater value for money. The staff was also friendly and helpful. I requested for a hair dryer as my room didnt have one. The staff loaned me one without any problem. The hotel is also very close to Mt San Salvatore, so if that's one thing you'd want to include in your trip then its ideal. It's also not far from the city centre - about 15 mins walk.. but if you'd like to stay absolutely in the centre, then perhaps you should reconsider. I also liked the fact that Migros is bang next to the hotel. So you can shop for eateries before your hike or even purchase breakfast if its not included in your package.”
“My Sister and I booked a double room at Ibis Budget hotel. Since the room was too cold for me (about 18 °C), the staff was so nice to upgrade us for free to a double room at Ibis. The hotel is centrally located, close to the old town of Lugano (10-15 mins walk); car parking is easy, safe (undergroung garage), and cheap (20 chf a night) . Summarising: great location, helpful staff, and high hygiene standards. 5/5 stars!”
