“It was nice enough, clean. You need a car though I came on public transport which was a nightmare with luggage. Metros in Paris with suitcases, changing trains up and down flights of stairs I will never even think of doing that again! There wasn't really much to see in Chartes I wouldn't bother going there again. I made a mistake with my booking and thought it was closer to the Loire Valley to visit wineries and castles. It wasn't! I was stranded in the middle of nowhere with nothing much to do. Worked out okay the break from travelling in the city did me good but unless you have a car and driving through I wouldn't visit there. The hotel was clean, bed very comfortable which is fanastic.”
