“Hotel is well placed for the castle and close to the churches. The restaurant at the hotel was good but there are lots of possibilities for eating elsewhere. Good centre for seeing the Bayeux Tapestry.”
“The location was great. Lots of restaurants nearby. The ones across the water way are more for college students but the ones to the right as you exit the hotel have some nice selections. We visited the D-Day battle fields and beaches and it was amazing. Taking a tour is good. We actually had a guide that knew the route that Winters (Band of Brothers) took over the country side and it was interesting to see how accurate it was.”
“Modern, simple and well design room which IBIS can do so well. Really liked the way the bathroom door also doubled as a door to the bedroom so that switching the bathroom light on during a midnight trip didnt wake your partner. Good location for a wander around Caen. Good Car park for catching the ferry early the next morning. Friendly Staff. Nice Bar.”
