“The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. They clearly have high standards and expectations for their employees. The hotel was within walking distance of West Lake and there was already a little trail map of the area around the lake in my room when I arrived. Even though the hotel was fully booked it never felt crowded and my room wasn't noisy at all. I didn't go for the breakfast, though. I imagine it got pretty crazy in there on the particular weekend I went. All of the toiletries you might need are already in the bathroom, and I was pleased to find that there were even bath salts for the tub. Overall I had a perfectly relaxing weekend at the Wyndham. It was the perfect escape from the craziness of the crowds outside around West Lake during China's Labor Day weekend.”

“I arrived on a weekend and was accorded a free early check-in. The room is clean and spacious. It is about 10 minutes walking distance to the West Lake which I highly recommend visiting. The staff spoke English and I have not encountered any communication barrier.”
