“yes some decor a little tired - but all very clean - beds comfy and cant beat the view !! staff where very welcoming and very pleasant and helpful ! would stay again with out hesitation food comes in massive portions !”

“Room very comfortable with balcony looking at the sea. Would have liked some fruity tea bags as a choice in hospitality tray. New management is a good step up from previous management who both in the restaurant and the hotel had a £ sign like a neon light above her head as her priority - customer service was probably bottom of the list and a very poor welcome bordering on aggressive when booking in with lots of people querying payments in a queue in the reception. This was matched by a second equally aggressive woman who ran the restaurant. BUT the new manager is relaxed, pleasant, helpful. dog friendly too. atmosphere much better. staff friendly and helpful and smiling! all good and I will happily go back.”

“The hotel is ideally positioned for going into the Brighton marina to eat and/or drink or going into central Brighton. The room we had was facing the sea with a balcony...excellent view. It had the usual tee and coffee facilties. Shower was great. Bed was queensize and comfortable. Flat screen TV. Checkin was easy and person was very helpful and friendly...he had to take vehicle registration and enter on website which meant we did not have to pay for parking which is chargeable everyday for everyone else. Nice bar and breakfast was great. Didnt have dinner but menu looked nice. Its not the Ritz but great value and would definitely stay here again.”
