“The guesthouse is in a wonderful position, looking out over the ocean and with a small sandy cove beneath it - almost a private beach. It is within short walking distance of the Boulders Bay penguins and only a short drive from Cape Point. Public areas are spacious and tastefully decorated, with an African theme. The staff and owner are extremely friendly and helpful and breakfast was excellent. We were lucky that an evening meal was available when we were there, though this is usually not the case. It was also excellent - the main course lamb shank was possibly the best I've tasted. There is an extremely well stocked honesty bar, which obviates the need for a minibar in the room (and means no noisy fridge during the night) and there is a fridge on the landing for your own stuff. Our room and balcony looked out over the sea and was very comfortable.”
