“The building is really old and full of character. Several inglenooks to warm up in. Lovely open fires. The bedroom was big, and the bath was awesome - just what I needed to warm up. Staff were very friendly, and the beer was great (3 well kept real ales on tap - perfect!). Bar food was top quality too. Didn't try the restaurant menu, but it looked good. A filling packed lunch was provided when we asked too. Room was cleaned during stay and left spotless.”
