“Extremely friendly spotlessly clean hotel. Perfect area for Coniston and visiting surrounding areas. We were married here last year and the staff worked so hard to make our day special. This visit was for our wedding anniversary and once again it was a perfect stay. The food is really lovely especially breakfast. Bedrooms are very comfy and views from the windows are lovely too with either the lake, village or old man Coniston. We will definitely be back again”

“This was the first time for me and my partner along with our dog staying at the Waterhead Hotel but it wont be our last. We could not fault anything about our two night stay. The staff were all excellent, very friendly and helpful. The hotel was set in a beautiful location right on the lake and the breakfast was superb. Only a 10 minute walk into Coniston village too with fantastic views of the mountains.”
“An amazing location with Coniston Water at the bottom of the garden and the Old Man behind. Very dog friendly place, they just put a table in the bar area at meal times so that the dog can stay with you. Lovely rooms and comfy beds plus great pubs a short walk away. Marvellous!”
