“The location of this hotel is marvelous. We took Amtrak from Sacramento, alighted at Jack London Square a short walk of 5 mins. and one arrives. Then to go to San Francisco we took the ferry which also is nextdoor to the hotel well a 5 min. walk away. So utterly convenient. Their restaurant is lovely with waterside seating! A fantastic stay and totally relaxed as we did not deal with driving stress. We highly recommend this hotel, its locale, also the delightful pub called Heinold's First and Last Chance Saloon!!! We took the free shuttle to the Oakland downtown area where restaurants abound and one hears blues music eminates from them. Such an alive place!!!”
