“Iris, at the reception desk, went out of her way to assure we had a delightful stay at this property. The proximity to the hiking/biking trails of the Siebengebirge (Seven Mountains) made this a wonderful place to exercise during our stay. Beautiful views! This hotel had easy access to the Autobahn for travelling in the area of Cologne, Bonn, Frankfurt, and Dusseldorf. The hotel was beautifully renovated and nestled in a quiet, wooded setting.”
“The breakfast was excellent and very comprehensive. I particularly liked the crispy bacon and the Earl Grey tea. My room (12) was light, spacious and had an excellent view out of the two windows. I felt this hotel was of a very high standard and I would not hesitate to recommend it.”

“Wunderschön im Wald gelegen, daher absolut ruhig, sehr schönes, großes Zimmer, wunderbar vielfältiges Frühstück. Einziger Wermutstropfen: Wenn das Restaurant geschlossen hat, tingelt man lange und nicht sehr erfolgreich durch die Lande um etwas Passendes zu finden. Der an der Rezeption empfohlene Italiener scheint nicht mehr zu existieren, jedenfalls war er nicht auffindbar und auch an der Tankstelle des betreffenden Ortes konnte man uns nicht weiterhelfen. Die nächste Möglichkeit ist dann, nach längerer Fahrt durch den Wald, Königswinter. Das muss man einfach wissen. Daher unser Wunsch: Eine Liste mit Lokalen, Restaurants der Umgebung, damit man, wenn das hauseigene Restaurant geschlossen hat, Alternativen hat.”
