“This is the place to be if you want to be in a highly secure and comfortable environment. Staff are superfriendly and the rooms and breakfast are really nice. The "real" India is right outside your doorstep, e.g., you get to the ATM on the opposite side of the street through a gap in the fence as one bar goes missing.”

“We love Taj Vivanta hotels. This was our first time in Guwahati and it worked out fine ......in the end. Our first night in Umami restaurant was a complete disaster but having made a few observations and having paid nothing for dinner that night, we were treated like royalty from then on. The staff and managers are very good, excellently trained and just totally dedicated to looking after guests. We were required to stay on for a few extra days on business and we could think of nowhere better to be inconvenienced. Lovely pool, great bar and excellent cocktails. First class as always from Taj.”
“just an average room interior . Nothing like a 5 star property in comparison with novotel, marriot , hyatt, ITC , oberoi or even park. This was my first stay with vivanta and i would say i definitely prefer others over them . The staff was friendly and helpful. Food was okay. Nothing great. so were the cocktails. The pool looked great btw but i couldn't use it.”
