“If you like marble floors, they have it. The garden is nice. The room was facing the garden and had a large balcony. The location was close to Herculaneum. The facility should be nice for large parties. Overall: definitely does not deserve the rating. To be avoided unless you're looking specifically for an experience of staying at an old rich house and can sacrifice modern comfort for that.”
“STAFF, ACCOMMODATION, LOCATION WERE EXCELLENT, FANTASTIC STAY AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND”
“Although I had booked a 2 single beds room for me and my sister, the booking they received showed a doublebed. To make it up to us they offered us the matrimonial suite, which was lovely! After having visited the Vesuvius and the Scavi, we had a lovely dinner in the hotel's restaurant. As we had to leave early the following day, they arranged a private breakfast for us in the bar area.”
“Felt like a princess in a palace!! It was a beautiful place, our room was gorgeous. The staff were very helpful and so pleasant and happy. Restaurant has good food.”
“This hotel is makes you feel like you r living in 18th century. Every corner and every piece is designed and decorated in respect to that. Garden is full of lemon trees. We stayed in a high ceiling frescoed room which was unique.”
“The hotel had great character. We had one of the suites and it was stunning”
“The staff in the hotel were fabulous, friendly, efficient and very helpful. The hotel is a peaceful oasis in the middle of Herculaneum, 15 min walk from the ruins. Its a busy, bustling suburb of Naples and the hotel was such a welcoming environment in the midst of everything.”
“This place is an excellent location for visiting Ercolano, Vesuvio, and other historical sites. The staff were excellent and very helpful.”
“The hotel was ideally placed for getting to Herculanium and the associated museum which were no more than a ten minute walk away. There was plenty of parking space and it was secure. If you aren't planning a visit to Herculanium and are just looking for a nice holiday hotel then there are nicer areas, Ercolano can be a bit of a culture shock if you've spent time in the countryside first. The front desk were very helpful and efficient, however the kitchen staff weren't quite on the ball on one of the two days we stayed which made breakfast disappointing.”
“This is really an event hotel (weddings, parties, etc), in a fabulous old, if faded villa. Well located, within easy walking distance of the Herculaneum archaeological site. The hotel were happy for us to leave our car parked on site, while we visited Herculaneum, before moving on later in the day.”
