Originally a 19th century villa, this carefully restored hotel is immersed in the green, hilly landscape of Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi, amongst olive-trees and orchards. Villa Romita was once the residence of the renowned Neapolitan jurist and philosopher Francesco Pepe who, in 1861 chose it as an ideal spot to relax. At Villa Romita, you can enjoy a fitness point with a lovely jacuzzi pool. Various massages and treatments are available. After an entertaining day retire to the warm terracotta tones of your fully equipped room, offering majestic hilltop views. All rooms are equipped with individual air-conditioning and Wi-Fi connection Guests of Villa Romita may use the restaurant and the swimming pool located by the Hotel Hermitage, 300 metres from the establishment.Villa Romita's rooms have been newly renovated and offer a choice of double or twin beds, with the possibility for family to fit one bunk-bed, one extra bed or a sofa-bed. “This place is unreal, the location is perfect, you can see spectacular views of sorrento and mount Vesuvius from the villa. It is a located up the hill from sorrento town centre but you can enjoy free rides curtesy of the hotel so don't let that put you off. The location also means it's not far from positano which is breathtaking, we chose to get married there while we were staying with the hotel. Renato was the most wonderful host, who couldn't do more to help us, while his lovely dog rock made us feelat home. Make sure you try Sant Agata as well - that's a safe 5min walk from hotel and has great restaurants such as Mimi's! 10/10 ... thank you for all of the memories ”
