“Staff were amazing and went out of their way to help me and even provided a torch so I could explore the island at night.”

“It was clean. The owner was very friendly and helpful. She was very informative about the best ways to experience the volcano. She made a good effort to provide a healthy breakfast for my friend who has food allergies. I was very impressed with her kindness.”

“The owners. Honestly, the most lovely beautiful people we came across our entire time in Sicily (and everyone in Sicily was lovely!). The were so welcoming when we arrived and were happy to help with any questions we had. The night before we left we mentioned we had the early ferry back to Milazzo and they kindly made take away breakfasts for us both and left them in our room the evening prior. The next morning when we were up bright and early the owners were both also up and offered to make us much needed espresso's! The sun was rising as we had our coffees quickly and it was absolutely beautiful. We were upset to miss breakfast as the patio where they serve it looked beautiful. ”

“Nice, friendly b&b / hotel with good views, my single room was small but comfortable with everything I needed including a fridge. Breakfast was good and served on the terrace opposite. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. It's about 10-15 mins walk from the main part of town but a pleasant walk, and they organised a taxi for me back to the port. I really enjoyed my short stay on Stromboli and would return in a heartbeat.”

“Very nice personnel. Good breakfast - not very big but all we needed was there and the terrace was nice. Stromboli is a wonderful place and Villa Petrusa fulfilled our expectations. Actually the rooms were nicer than on the pictures. It takes ~15 minutes to walk from the port, but it is a pleasant walk.”

“It was perfect. A nice change from the hostels. The staff greeted me by name and took my bags for me while I checked in. They walked me to a very clean, beautiful room I had all to myself. The property was beautiful and they were there if I had questions. Climbed stromboli so it was a reward in itself to stay there after.”

“Very good more than you could eat breakfast, fresh bread and pastries. Room was small but the large communal terrace was a great place to sit. Stromboli is such a small place everywhere is near everywhere. The owner is a great guy and very helpful. A lot of people make the mistake of only staying one night, they "do" the volcano and then move on. Worth spending a bit more time its an interesting place there are some great walks.”
