“Le cadre historique de l'hôtel dans son parc arboré qui domine le lac de Varèse et au loin le Mont Rose, ancienne propriété de la riche famille Cagnola, de noblesse italienne. Sur place, dans les bâtiments historiques préservés, l'hôtel possède une superbe collection de peintures (entre le XIVème et XIXème siècle), de tapisseries murales de toute beauté et, surtout, d'une collection de céramiques tout à fait exceptionnelle (la troisième plus importante collection en Italie). Possibilité de visite guidée (durée deux heures) pour la modique somme de cinq euros.”
“Villa Cagnola is een geweldige locatie!. Wij hadden een prachtige kamer op de 2e etage. Het ontbijt is goed en het personeel uitermate vriendelijk en behulpzaam. In het park kan heerlijk gewandeld worden en het uitzicht vanuit de tuin op het meer van Varese is fantastisch!. In de naaste omgeving zit Restaurant Tourlé waar voor weinig geld heerlijke hamburgers en pizza's geserveerd worden, ook vegetarische.”
“Hotel v tiché části města, má čtyři privátní hlídaná parkoviště, nejblíže recepci je vjezd 4. Velmi rozsáhlý areál s nádhernou zahradou, budova má více výtahů a přístupový systém na karty. Mladý recepční dost odměřený, ale jinak přístup zaměstnanců profesionální, super je pán servírující nápoje při snídani – ta byla poměrně bohatá. Pohodlné postele se středně tvrdou matrací jsou užší – 80 cm, na podlaze je zátěžový koberec v pokoji je velká skříň, široký psací stůl, dost zásuvek 220V, AC, trezor, předokenní dřevěné žaluzie. Pokoje mají strohou výzdobu a praktický inventář, společné prostory zdobí i originály starých obrazů poblíž recepce, moc hezké prostředí.”

“Een bijzondere ervaring! Aanbevolen voor liefhebbers van kunst en rust. Het hotel is één van vele activiteiten op dit complex rond een prachtige grote villa met bijpassende tuin (vandaar de fontein), panoramisch uitzicht, arboretum, een prachtige kunstcollectie (op vaste dagen te bezoeken, maar we kregen een privé rondleiding!!), concerten in de open lucht (op zaterdag), prima bar en restaurant met vriendelijke prijzen. Er gebeurt van alles: van bruiloften tot religieuze bijeenkomsten. Leuk voor een paar bijzondere dagen in Italiaanse sferen.”
