“Charming place in the heart of Chianti. We have already stayed here some time ago, and had very fond memories, so wanted to come back. The property starts showing some signs of ageing, but it is well looked after. The owners are very amicable people. Our seven-years-old daughter wanted to try the cooking class, so we did, and it was a fun experience:) Thank you, Villa Bordoni, for another lovely stay!”
“The overall ambiance and decoration is great. Also the staff who in most cases are the owners themselves are always ready to answer any question or make your stay even better.”
“My daughter and I stayed at the villa on our way to Rome. We were particularly impressed with the staff who were welcoming, informative and attentive to our needs. The cooking class with David was the highlight of our stay and a must do, and our room was unique, comfortable and beautifully decorated. I only wish it had been July so we could have enjoyed the pool and outdoor gardens.”
“Warm decorating and staff.Dinner was awesome and romantic. Greg”
“Wonderful staff. Superb food. Spectacular property.”
“This place is truly amazing. The hosts were superb, nothing was too much trouble, they organised a private vineyard tour for us at Ca De Pesa and we ended up with a private cooking class with the amazing Chef David. The villa, gardens, views, food, hospitality and service is all incredible. It was the highlight of our 18 day trip around Italy. We would highly recommend staying here.”
“Staff & help with arrangements: the correspondence was helpful and fast before we arrived and very complete on site. They booked us a tasting at Ca' di Pesa, and Ricardo gave very specific and complete directions to the winery Breakfast: There was a great selection. I loved the fruit salad! The breakfast waiter was great. Quick with the coffee of our choice. Pool: nicely situated, some shade options were available. Dining: the menu had contemporary twists on traditional cuisine. The setting is beautiful too.”
“The breakfast was amazing; from the pastry options to the delectable fruit salad and arguably the best coffee we had in our 3 weeks in France/Italy. Overall Villa Bordoni is a brilliant luxury getaway. Perfectly located as a base to explore the Tuscany wine regions as well as Florence and Siena I couldn't recommend more highly to couples as well as families with children. The facilities are first class, from the service levels from all staff we encountered, to the pool and garden areas and the very good restaurant.”
“Apart from being a great villa in a beautiful spot, the staff are happy to go far beyond the call of duty.”
“It's such an elegant property, beautiful and in a great location. The house is comfortable and unique. The staff was all wonderful and super helpful. The food is incredible.”
