“We had room 2. The room was warm and cosey, bed comfortable and clean. Shower was amazing and bathroom very clean. The fudge, sherry and fresh milk were a lovely welcome touch. The booking and paying process were very easy, I was abit sceptical about the key code process but it was perfect and gave you the feeling of privacy with no staff watching over you! Everything was on the door step from pubs, cafes, shops and restaurants. The sheep over the road does amazing burgers and pizzas!! Definitely visit Victoria house again.”

“The location and Stow on the Wold itself are great! The room was lovely decorated, small, but nice and clean. The private bathroom outside our room was fine, large and warm. No closet in the room, but there is something to put your suitcase on, and a coatstand in white wood to put soms jackets and sweathers on. A tray with sherry, fudge, coffey, tea, water, ... At night when you go to the bathroom, automaticly the light in hall and bathroom went on. And you hear the clock in the hall tick as at your grandparents ;-) The hosts are not there, but available by phone. We had 2 questions and we missed a adaptor (had not bought one myself because I read on the website there would be one). I got the answers by phone and as we came back from diner, a new adaptor had been put at the doorstep for us. Thanks!! :-)”

“Comfy bed and great central location in town, liked the fudge and free water did not try the Sherry as we don't really like it. Easy to find and really liked the door access system room was well appointed and it was a different touch to have a slipper bath instead of a shower.”

“This hotel was a quiet headquarters in the midst of a wonderful English small town. It is located just blocks from quaint shops and restaurants, as well as scenic hikes. Our time there was restful and refreshing. The room was very clean and comfortable.”
