“We didn't visit the Victoria Hotel as a holiday destination but we were investigating the possibility that my grandfather was the hotel proprietor in the 1890's. We did establish that the Hotel was built in 1871 so we think it is highly likely that it is the right one.”

I will go back some time even know a little out the way. its rural and quiet which if you like that is great. “Steve the Landlord was really welcoming on our arrival and the place immediately felt comfortable and relaxed. Even the locals were friendly. Our most favourite thing was the service. Lesley the landlady greeted us the following morning and made us the best breakfast we've ever had. We didn't want to leave. Lovely couple. We'd highly recommend this cosy place 😊”
