“silence and rest after the husling and busling in Venice.”
“The hotel is located on Certosa island - it takes a vaporetto ride to get there but we wanted to see Venice from water so we chose it. The island is nice, the staff was very friendly and gave us all directions around the city, vaporetto timetables, ways to get back late at night, etc. Nice restaurant by the hotel. Overall a homy atmosphere and very attentive people.”
“We didnt really 'like' anything in particular. The staff were friendly, but I would not stay here again.”
“The hotel is on an island and is part of a marine resort. It's ideal for peace and great for solo travellers. There is a restaurant on-site so you don't have to leave the island for dinner. The rooms were clean with magnificent views from all angles and the WiFi worked brilliantly. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. I totally recommend this hotel. ”
“A great place to stay for a visit to Venice, as long as you don't mind being out of the fray of the main island. For us it was perfect. Public transport (boat) got us there from the airport Andy to Venice easily. The Restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced.”
“Charming, small hotel on it´s own island, feels like a urban retreat before or after entering the flurry city. Rooms are quite standart but having breakfast in the garden is absolutley great. The transfer to Venice is easy going and the free hotel transfer after 11pm works pretty fine. Hotel staff was very nice and welcoming.”
“The hotel was situated on another island (Certosa) than Venice; however, it is very easy to reach Venice by public transport, which runs until midnight. We were told that a free shuttle operates after midnight, thus, the location is good. Value for money is better than in other places of Venice because the hotel is rather spacious, modern, and has a large green area around it - perfect for kids or pets. Food was tasty, and staff very (if not too much) friendly and helpful.”
“I came back to Certosa hotel in five years after my first stay, and it is still totally great! A calm sanctuary from the noise of overcrowded Venice, still close enough and well-connected for a touristic visit with lovely night shuttle boat that brings you back home after pleasant long evening. Friendly staff, clean rooms, balconies and garden, view of Venice and the Laguna. Absolutely love this place!”
“It was quite as it was away from Venice centre. It was on an island three stops on the boat to cetosa”
“Great staff (Thankyou Adrian & Sabrina) My door lock wouldn't work so they replaced it immediately. Quiet location. Excellent breakfast. Good room. If the vaporettos are suspended or you arrive late you can call reception for their own water taxi. Ideal for sailors as island has harbour. Good vaporetto service to Lido, Venice and islands.”
