“All in all a great stay due to the location and friendly staff. The room has everything one needs and is very well equipped. The room won’t be cleaned however and the hotel itself has seen better days. The roof top terrace offers an amazing view and streets like abbot kiney are close by. At night and during early mornings there are a lot of homeless people out front .. a bit disturbing.”

“On most counts I don't think this could be beaten. Prices in LA aren't the cheapest, but for direct on Venice beach, separate bedroom, great little kitchen shower with two heads, confortable bed, awesome. Plus the roof deck access with awesome views.”

“Second time we’ve stayed here, nice clean rooms with plenty of space. The rooms are bigger and more homely than a normal hotel and the location is excellent - right on the beach, and just a short stroll from Abbot Kinney Blvd for restaurants and bars. ”
“Modern small suite, clean and nice kitchen (dishwasher is available). Rooftop is nice to relax and look at Venice Beach. The Hotel is situated right next to Venice Beach (the sand is approx. 1 min walking distance). Our room had a nice view on the beach.Venice Beach can be quite scary at night, although we felt very safe in the hotel (24/7 receptionist, doors get locked after 9, good lighting)”
“The location was amazing. Venice Beach is quirky and there are some 'out there' characters about but I felt safe and really enjoyed it. The staff were really helpful and the beach was just gorgeous. I especially enjoyed hiring a pushbike to ride along to Santa Monica Pier :)”
