“The lady who checked me in (Paige) upgraded me to a better room, and that was just the beginning of the pleasant surprises. The location is perfect- by convenient shopping, on a beautiful river. The room is enormous. A single bedroom, not a suite, but as large as the lower floor of my apartment. Beautifully appointed, with elegant furniture, and there is actually a full set of bedding in the closet so you can change out your sheets without bothering housekeeping. The AC is powerful, and the bath tub is spacious. The most important thing is that there is a hotel cat. Her name is River, she's extremely friendly, and was one of the best things about my stay. There is a lovely garden near the pool, with Japanese maples and white rhododendron bushes, and that is where you will find her:) Amazing hotel, helpful staff, excellent restaurant- I'll be back!”
