“My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights. We arrived late the first night and had a full day activities the next day so we didn't need any hotel comforts except good bed and warm shower. The rooms are very small. Actually, except the bed there is not much space left. You don't come here for views either. However the beds are comfortable, the hotel is kind of cute and charming so I don't have any complaints. There are only basics in this hotel: don't expect anything extra in the bathroom except soap and towels. That's pretty much all you get for the entire room :) Also, don't hope for good breakfast. In fact I didn't even want to finish my coffee. But that's ok. You can go half a block either way and there are coffee shops and places you can grab something to eat. Location is nice, the area is full of small boutique hotels and motels, bars and some markets. The staff does not speak English. It was very hard to communicate. But everyone is nice.”

“Unusual and excellent decor in fantastic location. Service, cleanliness and maintenance 100%. Rooms small but perfect. Nice place I stayed in all of Thailand, would highly recommend it. Tight and circular staircase may be an issue for some but we didn't find it a problem. Breakfast quick and tasty - our choice from a varied menu.”

“U Residence Hotel is the definition of a boutique experience! We absolutely loved everything about our stay at this charming and cosy hotel in Krabi Town. Our room was spacious, clean, and lovingly decorated with teakwood furnishings and colourful tiles. We also enjoyed fast wifi and a balcony overlooking the river. The staff were extremely helpful in recommending some fantastic day trips for kayaking and snorkelling around Ao Thalane and Chicken Island. They even negotiated a handsome discount for these day trips! Other positive points about our stay included the hotel's proximity to the night market and Walking Street (plenty of cheap and delicious food options!). There are also some great bars around the hotel, such as "Old West" just a few metres down the road.”
