“The property sits on the beach so it takes about 30 seconds to walk from your cabin. This is a wonderful place to stay with the staff making you feel like family. The room is large and baths are modern. I am a middle age woman and traveling alone and felt very safe and well taken cared of.”
“Great stay at an excellent resort. Very cheap and good food at the hotel restaurant. Excellent service from both hotel owner and all the employees. There is a snorkeling and diving guide at the hotel 25 meters away, and the hotel also has a driver that can take you anywhere you want to go. The hotel has several trips (spice tour, monkey safari etc.) that you can order from the hotel. Beach is very nice, and when the tides were low we used the pool.”
“The beach was beautiful and we could run/walk for long distances in either direction. The property has a restaurant with good food and drinks and there are also other restaurants and bars along the beach. This side of the island is quiet and completely different from the busy Zanzibar and Stone Town areas. The property can organize day trips to all the usual places that visitors are interested in. The spice tour, Jozani forest tour (to see the red colobus monkeys) and Jozani Sea Turtle Sanctuary are all worth a visit.”
“The staff is friendly. Bungalowes are right at the beach! Really relaxed and hazzel free athmosphere. Nice that they built the new swimming pool 'cos the tide. Don't expect luxory but yet there's everyhting you would need.”

“The lodges are literally placed ON the beach. The staff was very friendly and super helpfull - they assisted us in planning a trip to Stone Town, a spice farm and snorkeling. The food in the restaurant is made from scratch, with fresh ingredients and was very tasteful and affordable. All in all, we highly recommend a stay at Twisted Palms.”
