“The hotel is very close to the temple, about 10 minutes walking. The manager Mohammed is very friendly and helpful. The food is good.”
“The hotel is a few meters down the road from the temples. We were able to walk to the temple for the sound and light show It is on a quiet street with beautiful flowers down the middle. Great view of Lake Nasser. The food at the restaurant was superb. Mohamed the manager was amazing”
“The staff were very helpfull and friendly. We felt immediately at home. The hotel is just 10 minutes walking from the Abu Simbel temples - so it's ideal for multiple visits including the daily light and sound show.”
“The staff were very helpful and went out of their way to answer questions. Location to Abu Simbel was excellent, about a 5 min walk to the entrance.”
“Location location location. Close to Abu Simbel monument site within walking distance and its beside the river Nile. Cool and quiet.”
“The staff, receptionist and cook (aka "Morgan Freeman"), we're welcoming and we had a great time chatting with them. The rooms are perfect in size, cool and comfortable. Bathroom was clean and had hot water. The food was delicious, thanks "Mr Morgan Freeman".Located a good 5min walk from the main attraction, it is ideal for sunrise, sunset and Light show opportunities. In short: if you go to Abu Simbel, look no further. This is the place you need.”
“Cozy Nubian style room, kind staff, good dinning and reasonable rate. Abu Simbel deserves one night stay. Don't just join the tour to see the temples and go back to Aswan at the same day. The sound and Light show, and the temples at sunrise particularly, are both unforgettable. Tuya hotel is definitely the place to stay if you want to enjoy more of Abu Simbel.”
“The host was absolutely wonderful. This cozy hotel is clearly lovingly maintained by people who care about their guests. Of course, the main draw is that it's so close to Abu Simble! The attached restaurant was charming with delicious local cuisine. The air conditioning works well (a must in the desert).”
“Very good place - close to temples and city center. Very good room, facilities, wifi. Very tasty and delicious but pleasant cheap restaurant! And very professional manager Mohammed who knows almost everything about Egypt and also cooks amazingly tasty coffee!”
“We received extremely welcoming, polite and helpful staff over our one-night stay at this cute hotel in walking distance to Abu Simbel or the ferry terminal across the Nile (both a few minute walk away). The wifi in our room was absolutely acceptable and the AC and fan helped us master the unbearable heat of the night. I recommend this very clean hotel (we could have walked barefoot everywhere) for anybody hoping to planning to see Abu Simbel or on transit to/from Sudan.”
