Staff were very friendly and helpful, but the highlight of the stay was the outstanding food. Each course of our dinner was inventive, well cooked, extremely appetising and beautifully presented. Portions were generous. The breakfast was again well presented and very satisfying. The hotel is in a quiet location with leafy outlook. A short walk through an attractive park led to village shops and a Sainsbury's supermarket.”
