“The hotel is quite an impressive building from the outside and I imagine it was a grand hotel in the past. The breakfast was lovely, good options for cooked or continental and flexible times. There is private off road parking but this is on a first come first served basis. Good value for money and great location to the town centre which we used for the Victoria Theatre.”

“Excellent location within walking distance of town centre and the theatre (why we were in Halifax). On street parking difficult and I felt that the hotel's price was a little expensive. Pleasantly welcomed on arrival. Lift up to bedroom. Bedroom had all one would want (even an extra bed), good central heating, comfortable bed and pillows with excellent quality towels ing the bathroom (bath & shower) Breakfast was very good and having the choice of 'Continental' (not a true one with meats, cheeses etc.) and cooked is good as not everyone has the physical capacity for a 'Full English'; I had the cooked breakfast and the ingredients ere good quality; The lady running the breakfast sitting was very good, pleasant, helpful, nothing too much trouble.”
