“Although the hotel was packed full of history with exposed beams, welcoming open fire in the bar with a good selection of ales, extremely atmospheric dining room and fine cuisine, friendly and helpful staff and a plentiful breakfast, in contrast the accommodation was modern, light and airy. A comfortable bed, well built furniture and a shower room to die for made our stay all the more enjoyable.”
