“It was clean, quiet amd well priced. No funny smells like so many other older buildings have. I would stay here again if I'm in the area.”
“Although the rooms were on the small side, they were quaint and cozy. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and the area is beautiful.”
“Provide a refrigerator, microwave and coffee make in the room, great when you're on vacation with grankids, saved me money . Close to restaurants and gas station, two mile from Fort Ticonderoga”
“I was traveling by bicycle. The host gave me a convenient room where I could lock the bicycle just outside. (He also offered an indoor space also with locking.) The room was cozy and comfortable and very clean! A nice extra touch was that he provided real glasses and real coffee mugs, along with of course a coffee maker, coffee, etc. Although I didn't use it, there was a large attractive lobby area where one could relax. This place was the best! And the price was reasonable.”
“Clean.....easy location to get in and out off. Quiet! Central to what we were there to see.”
“The location is close to Fort Ticonderoga, which was the target for this leg of our trip. The staff were very accommodating. There are several restaurants within walking distance. Also, the newer part of the city is easy to reach.”
“The beds were excellent, and the accomodations, while somewhat spartan, were spotlessly clean and provided for everything and overnight guest would want or need.”
“We had the A-frame room with 2 king sized beds, a roll-away bed, a refrigerator, microwave and table with chairs. I loved that I didn't need to climb up into the bed like some other hotels. It had a ceiling fan and air conditioner that kept the room cool during the day. The temperature was cool outside during the night so we turned both off. We were warm and toasty with the quilt and blanket on the bed. This hotel is vintage and so charming. It's located across from a diner and next door to the Ticonderoga Historical Society which was why we were there. The owner directed us to Emeralds at the golf course for dinner and the food was fabulous. We had our own parking space for our special room so no worry about not having a parking space when we returned from dinner. I would recommend this hotel. The staff is wonderful. The wide-screen TV was an added bonus.”
“The room was clean. The owner was very pleasant at check-in.”
“Unique old time motel right in town. Staff was nice. Loved the patio with lawn furniture and grills.”
