“From the moment we arrived to when we departed (2nights Stay) we were treated with the utmost cheerfulness, nothing was too much trouble. We had 1 evening meal which was excellent and very good value. The Breakfasts were the finest, a wonderful selection, locally produced jams & other products. The tea and coffee were also excellent”
“This is a Victorian hotel/pub and I stayed in Room 3, above the bar, but it was quiet, the room was very warm, the bed was extremely comfortable and I had a great night's sleep. I got there quite late, but the welcome was good and the staff very helpful. There was everything in the room and bathroom that I needed for an overnight business trip. It was a good size, with high ceilings and the bathroom wasn't small. The cooked breakfast was very good, immaculately presented and the bacon and sausage really good quality - you even get perfect fried bread! I suspect this is a good wedding venue.”
