Although the location is not really close to any one particular attraction it is central for a number of towns and there are some great walks very near by (Cwmcarn Forest and Twmbarlwm)”

“This was a very bad experience; so bad that I left after the first night as I could not face another night here. The hotel had no staff on site when I arrived on a sunday, which is not acceptable for a woman travelling alone. There were no phones in the room, or fire instructions. The person making breakfast in the morning was grubby and the food was poor. Not worthy of the status it claims for stars, by a long shot.”
