“The room ( Shipton ) we stayed in was very quite, and warm. No problem with hot water or sleeping. The car park was round the back and we found it no problem. The food was very good indeed, so good we dined here every night, the pancake rolls were delicious. Breakfast was plentiful and with a great choice, the bowl of porridge was huge and Goldielocks herself would find hard to finish. Wi-Fi never cut out or was slow. Building was a great piece of history and we enjoyed it so much we have booked again. The owners are great and if you ask for anything then they are more than happy to help you. My partner, myself and Charlie ( our dog ) couldn’t of asked for a better peaceful break away from all the hussle and bussle of where we live. Can’t wait to see you again next year 👍”

“This small hotel made you know you were in the Cotswolds, lots of old features and surprises in a pretty village to walk in. The hosts had great enthusiasm for their work and service to you. The meals in the evening were excellent and more people, including locals, should dine there. Stairs and outside paving is tricky so you need to be sure-footed.”
