“To sleep into te old Pilgrim's rest BANK OFFICE, in a room totally furnished as into early '900, makes the experience. The rest of the hotel remains in the same feeling and vibe. Simply adorable. Staff super, restaurant connected with good food. of course the hotel does not pretend to be a modern, fully serviced one, so there are some services missing (wifi in rooms, phones, tv) but you don't stay therein looking for that..”
“Staff really tried to make our stay positive. Beds were very comfortable. Inside interior nice and clean but furniture requires re-upholstering. Outside and gardens require attention! Nice fireplace going in the bar - pity smoking is allowed inside!”
“Bed was comfortable and there were extra blankets if needed. Room was very large and spacious. Off-street parking was easy to get to and there was plenty of it. Staff were very friendly and helpful.”

The location is good, but Pilgrims Rest is small, so is OK. Perfect stop before Sabie or Graskop and is a beautiful small town if you like old towns and antique items and furniture etc.”
