Our visit was slightly unorthodox as we were attending a local funeral so some of the questions about purpose of visit are not relevant. in the circumstances everything was as good as can be expected. If you need to visit the area I think it is a good choice. The hotel has always been renowned for its food and it was up to expectations.”

“The hotel is in a charming location near the top of a hill with views from my window over the countryside and to faraway hills. The room was spacious and comfortable and staff were helpful with my extra request for space to store my touring bike.”
“Stayed herw as was attending an event at Echo arena. Room was great with little added extras, choice of tea bags, coffee, even a choice of milk supplied for us. Didn't eat in the restaurant so can't comment, The bar area was comfortable and the gin list especially was excellent. This hotel owner should praise their staff, all very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Big thanks to Matt, Sam, Richard and the lovely Alicia. All a pleasure to meet you guys and hopefully we will see you all again when we return next year.So glad I picked this hotel for our 2 night stay.”
