“A small hotel that the owners were rightly very proud of. Not stuffy just a good Hôtel we are in the bar the food was good.”
“The hotel is great, and easy to get to but the parking is in a separate location which isn't apparent until you get in and speak to the reception staff (which, if you arrive after noon on Mondays aren't around as its their half day. Still easy to get in and get sorted though>) There is a pull in area in front of the hotel which is fine as long as its not busy (for a small town Andermatt can get very busy) Once you use the parking area set aside it is very good, about 500 meters away, easy to find, underground ans very secure! Its well lit and there is plenty of room to park safely. Hotel staff were brilliant and very helpful and friendly. Its quirky in respect of the rooms but really lovely! Breakfast was of a very good standard.”
“The bar was very comfortable, the food home cocked by the owner/chef. It was delicious. Kevin and Sarah, a husband/wife who own it take care of the property and rooms like it was their own home! The room was spacious, beautiful, clean, and quiet. Attention to details throughout! Truly a very nice place to stay in Andermatt. We will come back....”
“One of the best boutique hotels we ever stayed in. The owners are absolutely wonderful. The building is over 250 years old but the renovations are absolutely terrific. Ask them to show you the book of the renovations. It tells the tale. Hotel has a great cozy bar and restaurant. The fast flowing creek beside the hotel will put you to sleep at night. Breakfast was wonderful with lots of home made items. Could not have asked for a better place.”
