“The hotel is not the typical BKK hotel... if you are tired of 30 story concrete and glass towers or just want to relax in a more classic setting, Raweekanlaya is for you. It feels like going back in time to the good old days. The building used to be a home for a king (I think) and the garden and style of the house make it very special. The staff is friendly and helpful, the breakfast is good and the rooms are nice and clean. Bangkok is a big city and you may need to walk / take a taxi/ boat to get where you want to go, so when it comes to rating the location it depends on what you want to see... for us it was good as it wasn’t on the most busy / touristy streets of Bangkok”
