“We were greeted with a welcoming smile. The room was just right for the 2 nights we were there. The bed was comfortable we manage to have a decent sleep. Enough pillows. Managed to open the window for fresh air and leaving it opened without worrying about breakins. Shared bathroom and toilet quite handy and private to our bedroom. Enjoyed the restaurant and bar - décor furnishings are comfortable and relaxing. After a stressful day out we managed to come and wind down with a cold tomato juice and lemonade and a real big satisfying meal. The hosts and staff are irreplaceable, so lovely and helpful, willing to do anything for us. we left early to travel to Nelson an Helen was so kind to make us lunch (ham and cheese sandwiches), muffins and muesli bars to take.”

“Room came with a toaster, a kettle, and a sink. Showers and bathroom were clean. The place was quiet and the bed was reasonably comfortable. We had a decent meal in the restaurant that was, at least for New Zealand, reasonably priced. The room was small, but then we had a lot of gear.”
