“Lovely location that is walking distance from railway station. Although it has Edwardian façade the interior is modern and bright. The suite I had was decorated nicely with good sound proofing and that view, of course. the bed was large and comfortable. The bathroom was tidy, clean and well equipped. Restaurants and bar were all clean with nice atmosphere. The menu of mostly fresh fish, but with other options was interesting. The quality of the ingredients was good. The staff were consistently friendly and polite. Special mention must go to the bar staff who were engaging and provided interesting conversation. Breakfast was excellent in both quality and quantity, so cannot complain at all. As it was a business trip I regret I could not stay longer to explore the town. Will stay there again if in Harwich.”
