“Breakfast was EXCELLENT - I loved that they had an abundance of local food which was all of very high quality (hotels seldom get this right) and that they switched up the selection each day. Got to try mee Soto, gudek, Jamu, jawa coffee, superb pulut hitum, amongst other things. Fresh fruit juices, lots of fruits yoghurt and just a very hearty way to start the day. Doesn't hurt that the outdoor dining area is lovely too. Loved the little touch of being served welcome snacks! I fell in love with their black sesame bakpia and purchased it - it makes for a fab gift, isn't overly pricey and is of great quality. The property itself is gorgeous! Extremely well preserved and lots of notes everywhere to tell you about the history of the place - another thoughtful measure. Location is good - right in the centre of town so it's easy to get anywhere.”
