“Comfy beds and flannel sheets! Historical locale and the facility filled with bits and bobs of antiques. The Innkeeper friendly and very informative .”
“The breakfast was great. Hosts were welcoming. The hotel has character.”
“A great little place done up in antique style. Craft brewery just across the road :-)”
“Rooms were clean and comfortable, but on the small side. Complimentary breakfast was excellent, and a surprise that I wasn't expecting. The historical data was well presented.”
“Warmly greeted by the owner JP who also took the time to show me to my room and point out the rest of the facilities of the hotel. He also booked my dinner reservation for me. I just loved the decor especially the old photographs on display. Lots of choices for breakfast the next morning at Edie Rae's Cafe, I chose the eggs benny which were very good as was the coffee the service.”
“Loved everything about the experience! Best included breakfast ever from their own little cafe. Great ambiance and history recreating the feel of the era with all the mementos and decor and staff stories and extra little warm touches. Also loved the Indian cuisine and decor and friendliness at Zayka's restsurant and the visits to the Townsite brewery and the delightful Patricia Theatre all in the surrounding block within view of the Inn. And there was more to explore within walking distance that we didn't get to. A very large selection of DVDs to choose from if you wanted to stay in. A great total experience and we hope to come back with more family members for them to enjoy it too!”
“Being in an historic building full of antiques that are beautifully arranged, the very friendly staff and booking in. Breakfast staff great and food good. Room small but attractive, comfortable.”
“The staff's good service, the use of disabled people for your service industry.”
“I loved this place, it is full of memorabilia of the town as it was before this place became a hotel. And the restaurant has been named in memory of JP's mother, Edie Rae, such a nice touch.”
“A really fun, funky, cool place to stay in beautiful Powell River, close to Townsite Brewing, with a great breakfast in the restaurant downstairs. The owner, JP is awesome :)”
