“This is quintessentially an excellent gastro pub. The food, staff and ambiance are fantastic. They have a few bedrooms which again I would definitely describe as quintessentially Olde English. Therefore if your over 6’ 4” in height you’ll find yourself ducking to avoid the beams in the bar and certainly the room I was in as well. The facilities in the room were very good with tea coffee and an nespresso machine along with homemade biscuits. The location suited me for this trip but you definitely need a car to get around.”

“5 rooms attached to country gastro pub- we will use again as one of our suppliers is in local industrial center.half the price of hotel used previously and Lady who runs is running good quality establishment Complete with roaring fire.”

“The Duck salad at lunch time was superb and the breakfast was freshly cooked with local sourced sausages and eggs. The staff were very welcoming and showed us to our room, we had already phoned the day before to explain we were attending a wedding at 2pm and it was fantastic that we could put our bags in the room before we left.”
