“The setting is lovely with the canal behind and the pond in front. The location is very good. 5 minutes from the motorway junction. The orangery restaurant is a lovely design with views directly onto the canal. The bar is in the old part of the building and has beams and a log fire. The room and bed were spacious. Also very quiet even with a wedding party. Bar meal very tasty, good value and service.”
“Idyllic setting right beside a canal and you can watch the barges go by as you have breakfast - the hot breakfast is cooked to order and is superberb. The staff are very friendly and totally professional. There is a lovely cosy bar where you can have food if you don’t want to go the the restaurant.”
