“Checking in/out simple and fuss-free. Staff in all areas friendly and welcoming. Restaurant well-run, very efficient. My room was comfortable, and quiet considering the proximity to the main road - double glazing very effective. It was a bonus to be able to control the heating - I don't need much. Nice to be able to open the window. Plenty of tea/coffee, and decent-sized mugs! Folder in my room had plenty of useful local information, especially on short-cuts (paths) to Winchelsea, safer and more pleasant than the road.”
“Super friendly staff, lovely restaurant / bar - much bigger and nicer than we expected. Dinner was delicious, kids catered for. Lovely setting, on a main road but with beautiful views and no road noise at all. Family room was ideal, like a little apartment! Breakfast was plentiful and relaxed. Thoroughly recommend a stay here!”
