“The Lion hotel ambiance is the epitome of everything English. Comfortable settees and armchairs by a fire place which is usually merrily cracking away every evening. Mince pies that come with a cup of tea or mullet wine. We had a very nice bathtub which we used daily. The furnishings while nothing extraordinary were comfortable, giving the room a cosy-like feeling.”
