“The best value for money choice in New York. Yes, it is a little far away from Manhattan. We are talking for 20min metro ride + 15min bus ride or 12min walking to metro station and then 20min trip 24/7. There is a choice of a 20 min boat trip only during the day. The hotel is very clean, newly renovated, with friendly stuff and amazing Manhattan views. The area of Red Hook is picturesque and safe with some great local bars and amazing food choices. I never felt in danger walking or when I was in a bus there. I highly recommend the hotel although I must mention the exact distance from Manhattan for those that care only for the distances.”
